Golden Text - Illustrator Tutorial



Type your text in any font that you like.



Click with your right mouse button on the text and click on "Create Outlines".



Duplicate the layer with dragging the "Text Layer" to the "Create New Layer" button.



Go to "Object>Path>Offset Path". Use the same setting as in the picture.



Use "Merge" in the "Pathfinder" options.



Use the "Gradient Tool" to fill it up with gold.



Do the same thing with the other layer.
